Welcome !
Ive just returned from a trip to Bali in Indonesia. We actually went for my wife Francescas 40th birthday but I couldnt help taking my paints with me and doing some postcards and small studies.
This work is a painting of a doorway in Ubud, in Bali.
You can view all the other postcards and paintings from Bali on my site here. Postcards were sent to the Joshua McClelland Print Room at 15 Collins Street in Melbourne, and they will have a Balinese exhibition at some stage. They have been showing and selling my work for just over a year now - and will be showing new works at the Sofitel Hotel in Collins Street during January - March 2006.
All the postcards and paintings from Bali are for sale and currently available so please email me if you are interested in purchasing one all works are 19cm x 28cm and are available unframed (but matted) for AUD$550 including delivery to anywhere in the world (enquire about framed prices)

We stayed in Ubud, the cultural capital, for ten days and enjoyed galleries and wonderful traditional Balinese dancing, as well as delicious meals and relaxing massages.
After Ubud we spent a few days in the south doing the tourist bit surfing, swimming and bit of shopping ending up in Sanur for a few nights before heading off North to stay at a wonderfully energizing resort called Zen Bali, you can see the five paintings I produced whilst there here and visit their website as I can thoroughly recommend the resort.
Now back in Melbourne I am gearing up for Melbournes first Big Draw in September. I am managing drawing events at ArtPlay in the City of Melbourne during September and involved in various other Big Draw programmes around Victoria. For information about the campaign for drawing in Australia and England visit the two links below.
